Privacy Policy
Ping语 (formerly Ping Me) ("we", "us", or "our") is an anonymous, bilingual social chat application developed by ZenBa. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information — email address, password (hashed by Firebase Auth), display name,
@username, optional bio, age, gender, and interests. - Profile media — profile photo, if you upload one.
- Chat content — text messages, voice recordings, photos, and videos exchanged in 1-on-1 chats. "Whispers" are short anonymous messages dropped into the public Discover pool.
- Usage data — device model, OS version, app interactions, crash reports.
- Approximate location — only if you grant permission, used for nearby matching. We do not track precise GPS continuously.
- Moderation signals — message text scanned on-device for safety patterns; reports you submit; admin actions taken on your account.
- Translation data — message text you choose to translate is sent to Google Cloud Translation.
- AI data — text or context you submit to AI features is sent to Google Gemini for processing.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Deliver real-time 1-on-1 messaging and Discover matching.
- Translate messages on demand (English ⇄ Chinese).
- Detect and warn about scam, harassment, or inappropriate content before it sends.
- Investigate user reports and enforce community standards (warn, suspend, ban).
- Send transactional emails (verification, password reset, sign-in links) via Resend from
mail.zenba.store. - Improve product reliability and crash diagnostics.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising tracking.

4. Data Retention & Deletion
- You can delete your account at any time from within the app. Account deletion immediately removes your profile and your authored content.
- You can soft-delete a chat from your own list at any time (it disappears from your view; the other participant retains their copy until the 30-day purge or their own deletion).
- Reports you file, audit logs, and abuse evidence may be retained beyond 30 days for safety, anti-abuse, and legal compliance, in line with applicable law.
5. Children's Privacy
Ping语 is intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority. Contact us using the email below to exercise any of these rights.
7. Security
We use industry-standard practices: encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), Firebase security rules, hashed credentials, and admin allow-lists for moderation tooling. No system is perfectly secure — we encourage strong, unique passwords.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. The "Effective Date" above always reflects the current version.

Ping语（旧称 Ping Me，以下简称"我们"）是由 ZenBa 开发的匿名双语社交聊天应用。本政策说明我们收集哪些数据、如何使用，以及您拥有的选择权。

2. 我们如何使用您的信息
- 提供实时一对一消息和 Discover 匹配。
- 按需进行消息翻译（中英互译）。
- 在消息发送前检测并提示诈骗、骚扰或不当内容。
- 处理用户举报，执行社区准则（警告、停权、封禁）。
- 通过 Resend（发件域名
mail.zenba.store）发送品牌化的事务性邮件。 - 改进产品稳定性和崩溃诊断。
我们不会出售您的个人数据，也不会将您的数据用于广告追踪。

4. 数据保留与删除
- 您可以随时在应用内删除账号。账号删除后，您的资料和您创建的内容会立即移除。
- 您可以随时在自己的会话列表中"软删除"某个聊天（仅从您的视图中隐藏；对方仍保留各自的副本，直到 30 天清理或对方也删除）。
- 出于安全合规考量，您提交的举报、审计日志和违规证据可能依法保留超过 30 天。
5. 儿童隐私
Ping语 仅面向 18 周岁及以上用户。我们不会有意收集 18 岁以下未成年人的数据。如果您发现有未成年人创建账号，请联系我们，我们会及时予以删除。
6. 您的权利
根据您所在地区的法律，您可能有权访问、更正、导出或删除您的个人数据，并向当地数据保护机构投诉。如需行使上述权利，请通过下方邮箱与我们联系。
7. 安全
我们采用行业标准的安全实践：传输层加密（HTTPS/TLS）、Firebase 安全规则、密码哈希存储，以及对审核工具的管理员白名单。没有系统能保证绝对安全——建议您使用强密码且不在多处复用。
8. 政策变更
我们可能会随产品演进更新本政策。重大变更会通过应用内通知或邮件告知您。本页顶部的"生效日期"始终反映当前版本。
