Child Data Safety

Our commitment

Zen家宝 stores information about babies on behalf of their parents and caregivers. Because the subject of that data is a person who cannot consent, we treat it more carefully than a typical adult app would.

1. The app is for parents — not for children

• Account holders and community participants must be 18 or older.
• Children do not use the app directly. Parents and invited caregivers use it on the child's behalf.
• The app is designed for adult, parental use and is not directed to children.

2. What we store about a baby

• Name or nickname, date of birth, optional sex.
• Activity logs you choose to record (feedings, sleep, diaper, growth, milestones).
• Photos, videos, and optional sound recordings you save into Moments / Sound Insights.
• Anything else you choose to add — notes, captions, milestones.

We never collect data about a baby from sources other than what you provide.

3. Who can see it

• Private content — you, and caregivers you have explicitly invited by email who have signed in to accept. This is the default for all tracking and family content.
• Community content — only the specific moments you choose to post publicly, which are then visible to other signed-in adult users along with your public @handle/display name. You can make your profile private, delete any post, and block or report others at any time.
• ZenBa staff — only in narrow cases: bug investigation if you report a problem, content/abuse review when a report is filed, or law-enforcement requests with valid legal process.

We never share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or other apps, and your baby's private data is never posted to the community.

4. Keeping the community safe

Because adults can share content publicly, we operate layered safeguards designed to prevent and quickly remove inappropriate material, including any content that sexualizes or endangers a child:

• Zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users, agreed to before posting.
• Automated checks — a word/blocklist and AI classification on captions and comments, plus an on-device check for explicit imagery before a photo or video can be shared.
• Easy reporting & blocking — every post and comment can be reported; any user can be blocked. Reported content can be automatically hidden pending review.
• Human review & enforcement — our team reviews reports (typically within 24 hours) and can remove content and warn, suspend, or permanently ban accounts.

5. Retention

• Tracking entries & Moments — kept until you remove them or delete your account.
• Community posts — kept until you delete them or delete your account.
• Family-message images — auto-deleted after 30 days; text messages are kept until you delete them.
• Account deletion — locks immediately, then permanent deletion after a 24-hour review window.
• Safety records — reports and child-safety evidence may be retained longer where required by law.

If you believe Zen家宝 is being used to share inappropriate content involving a minor, or any other child-safety concern, report it in-app (Report on any post/comment) or contact us immediately:

7. Cooperation with authorities

Zen家宝 cooperates in good faith with valid legal requests from law enforcement and reports suspected child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) at report.cybertip.org in accordance with 18 U.S.C. § 2258A.
